Flamel Guitars was born at the crossroad of two friends’ minds, Frédéric Donval, aka Alkemy and Nicolas Masson in 2020. The duo became a trio in 2022, when Anthony Ceccarelli (Cecca pickups) joined the adventure. The journey has been rich and intense: Confronting ideas, visualizing shapes, crafting materials, following processes, sharing our experiences in guitar making, electronics, pickup winding... It took 3 years of development, from the first sketches emerging under the pen of Frédéric, to the prototype, through 3D modeling, pickup development, manufacturing tests, and components choice, in order to create the 3 electric guitar and bass models that we present to you today. We injected all our experience, all our passion, and all our know-how into Flamel Guitars so that our instruments provide everything modern guitarists, beginner or advanced, could need (*). Instruments built with modern techniques, inspired by legends (icons), roasted woods from France (on peu dire ca, avec le korina?), an array of hand-wound pickups, ranging from modern to vintage tones, and the best of electronics and hardware. Whether you are a child of Hendrix, whether you live at 5150 (+nom de rue fictive, style “Metal Avenue”?), whether you are Abbath’s henchman or whether you are none of the above, you will always find a Flamel that belongs in your hands, to be yourself...
