Flamel Guitars is proud to announce a new partnership with Bare Knuckle® Pickups, a global leader in high-end, handcrafted pickups.
This collaboration aligns with Flamel's vision: to offer modern electric guitars, designed in France, combining meticulous craftsmanship with top-of-the-line components. Bare Knuckle® pickups were chosen for their precision, dynamics, and ability to fully reveal the character of our instruments.
Now, the Arsenic and Cyanide models, in Standard and Deluxe versions, are equipped with pickups carefully selected for each sonic identity: from powerful rock to modern metal, without compromising on definition or musicality.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of Flamel Guitars and reinforces its positioning:
instruments made in France, designed for today's musicians, capable of competing with the biggest international names.
Mirabelle is not simply a heavy pop-punk band with emo undertones. It's a sonic adventure, a sincere journey through their simultaneously lighthearted and sometimes dramatic way of experiencing daily life in the working-class neighborhoods of Paris. Their music, familiar yet unique, draws its roots from an authentic and raw urban scene, where friendship is cultivated amidst easycore melodies and trap influences.
Now, Pierre Flew breathes new life into the project with his Cyanure Standard , bringing an even more distinctive and impactful sound.
Let yourself be swept away on this emotional odyssey to the heart of Europe's most romantic—and grittiest—capital.

Bratty. Offensive. Direct.
That's how JUICY ROADKILL takes the stage, fueled by rage and love, to deliver a breathtaking punk rock show. With their lyrics, they twist the knife while simultaneously enriching punk with new facets. Far from yearning for the "good old days," the music of these four friends is driven by fresh ideas, audacious experimentation, and innovative interludes. Far from being overwhelmed by the world, they propel it forward with their hard-hitting sound. Vibrant, gritty, and provocative, they rely on Daniel's Cyanide Custom "Rage" to deliver some serious slaps to the front rows! Their new album is out on April 25th. If punk is your thing, go for it! https://www.juicyroadkill.com/

Raised on the sounds of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Saxon and Metallica among others, I picked up my first guitar at 17. It was a self-taught, voracious learning experience.
My YouTube channel was launched in 2008. The first educational talk video dealt with artificial harmonics, following several hundred purely musical videos. "Nono's Tips" was launched and achieved considerable success within the guitar community. In 2012, I started working for Guitar Part, initially as a reviewer, then as a writer, teacher, and versatile contributor.
I later joined Audiofanzine and then Guitar Xtreme. The roles of writer and reviewer have always been a passion of mine, as I enjoy crafting good language and correct spelling.
In parallel, I released my first solo instrumental album "Welcome to Neocity" in 2015, a cyber metal-style album followed shortly after by "Retrocompatible", an album from the Flashlight project imbued with synthwave and which constitutes a tribute to all the pop culture of the 80s and 90s. A one-off power-metal album with the A Taste of Freedom project then came out.
With ADX, the legendary French band, I recorded the albums Bestial, Etranges Visions, and L'empire du Crépuscule. In parallel, I continue my solo instrumental compositions, including my latest release, Into the Light. I create and share my music according to my desires and inspiration, track by track.
I give numerous masterclasses throughout France and in neighboring countries, and since 2023 I have offered a new teaching format: Workshops: work and play. This format, with a limited number of participants, places a greater emphasis on precision and hands-on guitar practice, with content geared towards discipline and rigor.
I met the Flamel Guitars team at the Salon de la Belle Guitare in Paris in March 2024. There, I discovered professionals passionate about guitars, meticulous attention to detail, and all the little touches that allow guitarists, amateur or professional, to own instruments of exceptional design, quality, and sound. All of this crafted in the Breton rain for an astounding price! Hats off to them!.
On the occasion of the launch of the first 2 models of electric guitars, available in 2 ranges and several finishes, Flamel offers you to buy a presale guitar, benefiting from an exceptional discount of -20%* for the first 10 and until May 15, 2024 only.
But first of all, a little history and the presentation of our models by our president, Nicolas Masson:
Hello everyone,
I am Niko, formerly responsible for the organization of General Lutherie . It's a little long story but I will try to make clear and concise.
It is thanks to this experience at General Lutherie that friendships have been forged with Fred D ' Alkemy Guitars and that I fell in love for the instruments he makes in his workshop. By dint of discussion around his guitars, we have launched the idea of making guitars in series.
The specifications were simple: using the pencil stroke and the know -how of Fred to transpose its very high -end instruments into something more general, more affordable, available and without compromise on quality, electronics and microphones.
- Most publicly by offering proven technical finishes and choices
- More affordable by working in a short circuit for the supply of wood. Using digital machines for machining and directly calling on the biggest filing brands.
- Available by having a presence on all of France through a network of stores with whom we will work on for our guitars to be present near the players.
- Quality control All the parts that come out of machining are inspected, controlled and validated by Fred.
- Electronics CTS and Orange Drop. References.
- Pickups : The meeting will take place with Cecca Guitars, which manufactures several types of pickups for Flamel Guitars .

We produce three models available in three ranges.
- Standard arsenic, deluxe or custom
- Standard cyanide, deluxe or custom
- Standard vitriol, deluxe or custom.
You will find the details of these models on the corresponding pages.
(Beware of the bassists, the low vitriol does not appear there because we want our models to be as perfect as possible and we still have a little work on it. I can nevertheless tell you that the wood species will be identical to the standard and deluxe series with a precision micro type on standards and jazzbass on the deluxe.)
Custom models are not present in the catalog, indeed it is custom therefore “à la carte”. Take a look at the Custom Shop to get an idea.
Our woods are duly selected by Fred taking into account quality, provenance and cost. All are PEFC*certified.
- The maple and the Laricio are of French origin.
- The Korina comes from plantations in Cameroon.
To improve the sustainability and sound qualities of our woods, all bodies, sleeves and keys are roasted in Brittany.
Where are we today ? A first complete series of pre-production is ready to go on test with a small size group of the guitar and bass by the end of February . We will make a technical return with them in stride for a final validation. The presentation of all the models with the public will be done at the Salon de la Belle Guitar (formerly Montrouge) on the first weekend in March.
Last point and not least since you are wondering. How much does a flamel guitar cost? It's simple and the price is the same as you are right -handed or left -handed:
- series : € 1390 cover included.
- series : € 1690 cover included.
- The custom shops start at € 2,700 Soft-Case included.
For the launch of the range of Flamel electric guitars, we invite you to acquire a guitar (or more if you are delicious: D), benefiting from a -20% discount on the sale price in stores. This presale is a unique opportunity to buy a Flamel guitar, made entirely in France, below the sale price in stores, where they will only be available from next fall.
The Paris Guitar Festival, in addition to being a gathering for concert enthusiasts, has for many years offered an international trade fair, "Le Salon de la belle guitare" (The Beautiful Guitar Show). This international event has become essential for luthiers and manufacturers of electric and acoustic guitars.
The entire Flamel team will be there to unveil our exclusive range of French-made electric guitars and basses. Frédéric Donval ( Alkemy Guitares , Luthier/Designer), Nicolas Masson (CEO, if you please 😉) and Anthony Ceccarelli (Les Micros Cecca ) will be at the booth to welcome you, present the models, and allow you to try them out in rooms equipped with the best French-made amplifiers.
Find all the festival information here: https://www.parisguitarfestival.com/salon-de-belle-guitare/
We look forward to seeing you there on March 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2024, at the Montrouge Belfry, 2 Place Emile Cresp, 92120 Montrouge
We at Flamel are thrilled to have Mpumi Mcata, guitarist for the band BLK JKS, as our first artist. We'll be showcasing Mpumi's custom guitar in the coming months. Stay tuned!
BLK JKS is a band from Johannesburg, South Africa. The group consists of Mpumi Mcata (guitar), Tshepang Ramoba (drums), and Molefi Makananise (bass). They combine a variety of musical styles, including rock, funk, Afrobeat, and traditional South African music. The band has released two studio albums, “After Robots” in 2009 and “Before Humans” in 2021, along with a series of singles in between. They have also toured the United States, Europe, and Africa.
BLK JKS is known for its eclectic and experimental music that fuses elements of rock, funk, Afrobeat, and traditional South African music. They often use traditional African instruments such as balafons and kuduros in their music, adding a unique cultural dimension to their sound. Their first song to gain attention was “Lalelani,” a blend of rock, funk, and traditional Zulu music. It was with this song that they began to make a name for themselves in the Johannesburg music scene. Their biggest hit, the track “Lakeside,” is more influenced by electronic music. They used modern production techniques to create more futuristic and experimental sounds. The lyrics are primarily in English, but some songs include lyrics in Zulu and Xhosa.
